Founded in 1979 and incorporated in 2008, The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation (PWCF) supports the charitable work of His Royal Highness Charles Philip Arthur George Prince of Wales.
PWCF is a grant making organization that supports a wide range of causes, the primary areas of interest being the built environment, responsible business and enterprise, young people and education, and global sustainability.
Highgrove Enterprises and Duchy Originals Limited are subsidiaries of The Prince of Wales's Charitable Foundation. Profits generated by sales of 'Waitrose Duchy Organic' and Highgrove products, and from events and tours of the Gardens at Highgrove, are donated to the Foundation. This enables the Foundation to support charitable causes and make a strategic impact for good.
Over the last 25 years, more than £7 million has been raised for The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund through garden tours, events, retail and catering at Highgrove.
Further details on the causes supported by the Foundation and Highgrove Enterprises are available at Small Grant Beneficiaries - The Prince of Wales's Charitable Foundation.
