Important Information

Customer Services

What to bring
  • All visitors must bring a form of photographic identification, ideally a passport, driving licence or bus pass to gain entry onto the Estate. Alternatively, we'll accept two utility bills under your name.
  • Tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or replaced. The resale, alteration or defacing of a ticket will render it void.
  • In case of an emergency on the day of your visit, please contact customer services as soon as possible. If your tour is on a Saturday or Sunday, please contact visitor services on 01666 501900 or email visitorservices@highgroveenterprises.com.

Safety and security
  • Tours and events adhere to a strict timetable so please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your tour/event time to allow for parking and security checks. Exact arrival times are detailed on the specific tour and event pages and tickets.
  • The use of mobile phones, cameras, binoculars and all forms of recording equipment is prohibited on the Highgrove Estate for security reasons.  Please leave such items at home or in your vehicle.
  • For visitor safety, random bag checks are in operation.
  • Smoking, including vaping, is not permitted on the Estate.
  • We regret Highgrove tours and events are not appropriate for children under the ages of 12 years old.

Accessibility
  • Garden routes are unmade with bumpy and uneven surfaces - we suggest wearing sturdy shoes or wellington boots for your visit. Please also wear suitable clothing for wet weather conditions.
  • Disability access requirements and mobility scooter hire can be arranged prior to your visit by contacting customer services.
  • Wheelchair users must be accompanied by a strong companion. For garden tours and events that include a garden tour, an access companion ticket allows you to bring a carer or essential companion with you on your garden tour free of charge. Please note that access companion tickets must be booked in advance via the booking office and the cost of the garden tour will be deducted from the overall ticket cost.
  • Mobility scooters are available to reserve free of charge. There are only two mobility scooters on the Estate so booking is essential. Guests will be expected to sign a disclaimer and will be shown how to use the scooter prior to their tour.
Please note that an access companion ticket is not included when booking a mobility scooter.
  • Only assistance and guide dogs are allowed onto the Estate. Please inform customer services prior to your event if you will be accompanied by an assistance or guide dog.

Group Tours
  • Groups are asked to arrive in one vehicle or as few vehicles as possible due to limited parking on the Estate.
  • Coaches are allowed onto Highgrove Estate to drop off and pick up guests. We do not provide onsite coach parking but offer local parking at Westonbirt Arboretum, GL8 8QS.
  • The Group Leader Declaration will be collected on arrival, together with a list of full names from your group.
  • For group tours, a menu and lunch order form will be sent to the group leader prior to the event. This must be completed and returned no less than 7 days prior to visiting Highgrove.
  • The group leader will be required to bring the group ticket and each guest must bring a form of photographic identification, ideally a passport, driving licence or bus pass; or two utility bills,to gain entry onto the Estate.
